Vietnam
In June 2023 I travelled to Vietnam on an Intrepid tour. It was the first time I had travelled solo and this tour was amazing as I met new friends from around the world. Seven of us all came from Canberra and we have caught up for dinner several time since returning home. The Vietnamese people are extremely nice and the culture was amazing. The traffic was daunting, however, I got used to it after a while and felt safe crossing the busy streets after a few attempts. The tour commenced in Hanoi and made its way down to Ho Chi Mihn City in the south. We travelled by mini bus, train, plane, rickshaw, bicycle, motorbike and on foot. The landscape was beautiful, and I plan to return again soon.
